This is a non-profit institution focused on achieving social solidarity, educational, artistic and cultural goals, offering benefits to the Group’s employees in the areas of health and education.
Since 2005, Toyota has been contributing to making Portugal greener, offering nature a tree for each vehicle sold. We’ve already planted more than 200.000 trees!
Salvador Caetano shows its environmental concerns in many different ways, namely through the products and services it develops and markets. From selling electric and hybrid cars to developing electric and natural gas buses, or the latest mobility solutions aimed at meeting our customers’ wide range of daily commuting needs and minimising the impact of the circulation of motor vehicles. Preserving the planet is a priority, making cities better places to live in and work.
Visits to factories, namely of companies with an industrial and innovation component, are the best expression of the Salvador Caetano Group’s connection to schools and higher education institutions, bringing students closer to the industry. We also welcome companies and other entities, an initiative which allow us to exchange knowledge and experiences among different sectors.
The Talento Jovem Programme aims to attract and prepare young talents who want to start a sustained career in Salvador Caetano.
This Programme is designed to prepare future employees by instilling in them the key principles of the Ser Caetano culture and providing them with a differentiating professional experience in the various Salvador Caetano business areas, from the manufacturing industry to the automotive sector.
With three training and communication methodologies (face-to-face, e-learning and b-learning), the Be Caetano Academy offers Youth Training (Vocational Training), the Talento Jovem Programme (Trainees), Asset Training (employee development) and a scholarship for senior mentors (knowledge transfer).
With the ambition of responding to new generations and facing new challenges in the area of knowledge for business, it has been expanded to include a digital platform – Be Caetano Academy. With the same mission and the same target audience, it is now offering e-learning training, organisational alignment, internal communication, and information disclosure.
Since 2020, Salvador Caetano has a cooperation partnership with the Salvador Association in the area of employability, to make it easier for people with disabilities to enter the labour market.
At Salvador Caetano, we are aware of the challenge of reconciling professional and personal life. This Club was created with the aim of improving the quality of life of employees and their health, as well as reinforcing feelings of belonging, well-being and unity. To this end, we have a set of initiatives on a daily basis.
The Be+ Club gives access to sweepstakes, partnerships, and discounts in the most diverse areas, events and wellness services in companies.
The Sports Committee organises sports tournaments and virtual tournaments.
The Be Caetano Clinic, through occupational health, promotes internal campaigns/actions related to health.
Officially opened in 2018, this is a leisure space designed to encourage our employees and their families to socialise. Thanks to protocols with Gaia City Council and the Gaia Biological Park, it will also be open to the local community.
